How Men Are Screened
A higher standard for the men we represent.
We screen men before we represent them. The men we represent are not selected for their ability to attract attention. We evaluate their capacity for trust, commitment, stability, and partnership.
The screening process
Six stages, all before an introduction.
Every represented man completes the same six-stage review before he is proposed for an introduction. The process is designed to provide a more considered starting point while encouraging both people to continue using ordinary judgment and sensible first-date safety practices.
Stage 1
Identity and address-history verification
Confirming he is who he says he is, and that his stated history holds up.
Stage 2
Relationship-status confirmation
Confirming he is genuinely available, and not quietly attached to someone else.
Stage 3
Professional and employment verification
Confirming what he does is real. His profession is not the qualification; honesty about it is.
Stage 4
Financial-readiness review
Confirming he is self-sufficient and stable. Income alone does not establish readiness for a relationship.
Stage 5
Background, public-record, and reputational review
Reviewing available records and reputation. Criminal background reports are obtained where legally available and properly authorized.
Stage 6
Values, sexual-integrity, and courtship-readiness evaluation
A human evaluation of readiness: relationship and family intentions, sexual integrity, communication and emotional capacity, and agreement to the Courtship Standard, privacy, conduct, and no-financial-requests requirements.
Screening conversations are conducted by trained female intake specialists and are never conducted by the man being considered for an introduction.

Every represented man completes all six screening stages before he is proposed for an introduction. The specific documents, records, vendors, and verification methods used within a stage may vary based on applicable law, availability, relevance, and required consent. Criminal background reports are obtained where legally available and properly authorized. Asset or income documentation may be requested when relevant and appropriate. Screening reduces risk but cannot guarantee safety, honesty, compatibility, conduct, or outcomes.
Sexual integrity means a man's romantic behavior matches what he says he wants. If he says he is open to a serious, committed long-term relationship, his life isn't quietly organized around novelty, secrecy, sexual ambiguity, or attention. He can focus, he can be transparent about his intentions, and he treats physical intimacy as something tied to trust, consent, and responsibility.
Honest limits
What screening cannot do.
We would rather tell you the limits plainly than let a promise stand unqualified.
- Screening cannot prove that a person is safe, honest, or emotionally available.
- Screening cannot establish compatibility or chemistry.
- Screening cannot identify every risk or guarantee anyone's conduct.
- A background report describes records. It does not prove character.
Screening provides a more considered starting point, but no screening process can eliminate risk. Continue using ordinary judgment and sensible first-date safety practices.
