Safety & Privacy

A more considered process, and honest limits.

Screening provides a more considered starting point, but no screening process can eliminate risk. Continue using ordinary judgment and sensible first-date safety practices.

How we reduce risk

The principles behind a higher-trust process.

We use screening, privacy controls, conduct standards, and reporting procedures to reduce identifiable risks and respond to concerns.

Women apply free

There are no fees for women, ever. You are not browsed by men and you are not listed as inventory.

Men are screened first

Every represented man completes the same six-stage review before he is proposed for an introduction.

Women verify only when needed

Women complete basic verification only when a specific introduction is being considered. Not a moment sooner.

No public profiles

Your application is private. There's nothing here for the world to browse.

No swiping

No feed, no deck, no gamified attention. Real people make the introductions, one thoughtful introduction at a time.

Your information is not sold

Aligned Courtship does not charge women application fees, sell paid visibility, place applicants on public profiles, or sell applicant information.

No financial requests, ever

We operate a strict no-financial-requests policy. No one in our process may ask you for money or financial favors of any kind. If someone does, that's a hard line and we want to hear about it.

Verification & screening

Every represented man completes the same six-stage review before he is proposed for an introduction.

  1. 1Identity and address-history verification
  2. 2Relationship-status confirmation
  3. 3Professional and employment verification
  4. 4Financial-readiness review
  5. 5Background, public-record, and reputational review
  6. 6Values, sexual-integrity, and courtship-readiness evaluation

Screening reduces risk but cannot guarantee safety, honesty, compatibility, conduct, or outcomes. A background report describes records; it does not prove character. You can always decline an introduction.

First-date safety

Sensible practices, every time.

Screening changes the starting point. It does not replace the ordinary care any thoughtful person takes when meeting someone new.

Meet in a public place.

Maintain your own independent transportation.

Tell a trusted person where you will be.

Do not send money.

Do not share sensitive financial information.

Do not tolerate sexual pressure.

Report deception, threats, stalking, coercion, or financial requests.

Contact emergency services if immediate danger exists.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency services. Our reporting channels are not emergency-response services.

What to tell us about

If something feels wrong, we want to know.

We would rather hear about a concern early than learn about it later. Some behavior is difficult to see coming: concealed casual intentions, manipulation, false promises of commitment, sexual pressure, coercive behavior, stalking, or inappropriate financial requests. None of it is acceptable here, whether it involves someone we represent or someone you encountered elsewhere in the process.

Reporting a concern is never an imposition, and you do not need to be certain before you say something.

Aligned Courtship does not charge women application fees, sell paid visibility, place applicants on public profiles, or sell applicant information. For the full detail on how we collect, use, and handle your information, please read our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
