Aligned Courtship is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to use the website or service.

Information collected from women applicants may include: full name; age or date of birth, if requested; city, state, and country; email address; phone number; social profile URL; recent photos; current relationship status; whether you are currently dating, sleeping with, emotionally involved with, or otherwise attached to anyone; marriage goals; children and family goals; openness to focused courtship; openness to masculine-feminine polarity; financial self-sufficiency; emotional stability and readiness; personal passions, projects, work, service, charity, or creative pursuits; written answers about desired marriage and family life and the kind of man you hope to meet; matchmaker notes; screening scorecards; admin notes; status tags; IP address; user agent; and source data.

Information collected from men, where applicable, may include: full name; age or date of birth; email address; phone number; city and state; occupation and company; relationship status; whether the person wants marriage and children; why the person is ready now; referral source; professional or employment verification; financial-readiness information; asset or income verification where appropriate; address history; public-record review; social or reputational review; criminal background check information where legally available and with consent; values interview notes; sexual integrity or relationship-readiness notes; courtship-standard agreement; privacy and conduct agreement; and other screening or verification information.

We may also collect communications you send to us, scheduling information, consent records, policy acknowledgements, email engagement data, and records of your interactions with the website.

4. Sensitive Information We Collect

Aligned Courtship may collect information that may be considered sensitive under some privacy laws or that may feel sensitive because of the nature of the service.

This may include information that reveals or relates to religious or spiritual beliefs; relationship status; dating behavior; sexual-intimacy-related information; family planning or desire for children; photos or images; location; financial or employment information; criminal background information where legally available and with consent; subjective compatibility evaluations; matchmaker notes; admin notes; screening scorecards; emotional readiness; personal values; lifestyle preferences; and courtship expectations.

We collect sensitive information only for purposes related to reviewing applications, evaluating alignment, conducting screening, protecting participants, arranging private introductions, operating the service, complying with law, enforcing our rules, and maintaining safety.

We do not sell sensitive personal information.

We do not use photos or sensitive profile information for unrelated AI training, facial recognition, unrelated third-party enrichment, or unrelated advertising unless we separately disclose that use and obtain any legally required consent.

5. Photos and User Content

You may upload photos and submit written answers, profile information, social links, messages, and other content.

Photos may be used for application review; identity and photo consistency checks; matchmaker evaluation; screening; internal review; limited private introduction summaries; and safety and integrity purposes.

Aligned Courtship does not display public dating profiles. We do not operate a public browsing or swiping platform.

We may privately share limited photos or profile summaries with potential matches only when appropriate for a curated introduction or related review.

We do not authorize participants to screenshot, publish, forward, or misuse another participant's private photos or information.

6. Verification and Background Screening

Aligned Courtship may request identity verification, professional or employment verification, financial-readiness information, public-record review, social or reputational review, criminal background screening where legally available and with consent, or other verification.

Verification and background screening are designed to confirm identity, reduce obvious safety risks, and protect participants before private introductions are made. They do not guarantee safety, honesty, compatibility, relationship readiness, or future conduct.

We may use third-party vendors for identity verification, background screening, fraud prevention, public-record review, or related services.

Before obtaining any third-party consumer report, investigative consumer report, background check, or similar report where required by law, we will request any additional disclosures, authorizations, notices, or consents required by applicable law.

Not every participant may receive the same screening. Do not assume that a participant has been background checked unless we specifically tell you that a specific screening step was completed.

7. How We Use Information

We may use personal information to operate the website and service; receive and review applications; evaluate eligibility, readiness, values alignment, and potential fit; communicate with you; schedule calls; conduct screening calls; prepare matchmaker notes, scorecards, status tags, and internal evaluations; verify identity or other information; reduce fraud, scams, abuse, and obvious safety risks; decide whether to accept, decline, pause, remove, or continue considering an applicant or participant; arrange curated introductions; prepare limited private introduction summaries; enforce our Terms, courtship standards, privacy rules, and anti-scam rules; investigate concerning behavior; protect participants and the service; comply with legal obligations; respond to legal requests or enforce rights; improve the website and service; understand website traffic and application sources; send service-related communications; send marketing communications if permitted; and maintain business records.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information for analytics, service improvement, business planning, or reporting, provided it does not identify you.

8. How We Share Information

We may share information internally with owners, managers, employees, contractors, matchmakers, administrators, reviewers, and advisors who need access to operate the service.

We may share limited information with potential matches when appropriate for a curated introduction.

We may share information with vendors and service providers that help us host the website, store data, send email, schedule calls, manage communications, conduct analytics, provide security, process forms, verify identity, conduct screening, or operate the business.

We may share information if required by law, subpoena, court order, legal process, law enforcement request, or government request.

We may share information if we believe it is necessary to protect rights, safety, participants, property, the public, or the integrity of the service.

We may share information with professional advisors, including attorneys, accountants, insurers, security consultants, and other advisors.

We may share information in connection with a business transaction, such as a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, asset sale, or transfer of the business, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal protections.

We do not sell sensitive personal information. We do not publicly post applicant profiles. We do not allow men to browse women. We do not provide open public access to private participant information.

9. Matchmaker and Internal Review

Aligned Courtship may create internal matchmaker notes, scorecards, admin notes, tags, interview notes, compatibility assessments, and subjective evaluations.

These materials are used to operate the service, evaluate fit, identify potential introductions, maintain safety, document decisions, and improve quality.

Internal notes may include sensitive observations, subjective impressions, relationship-readiness evaluations, communication notes, values alignment notes, and safety concerns.

We may decline to disclose certain internal notes where permitted by law, including where disclosure would reveal confidential business methods, compromise safety, disclose another person's information, interfere with fraud prevention, reveal privileged material, or otherwise be restricted by law.

10. Limited Sharing With Potential Matches

When appropriate, Aligned Courtship may share a limited curated summary with a potential match.

A limited curated summary may include first name or limited identifying information; age or general age range; city or general location; selected photos; general background; values and relationship goals; marriage and family goals; relevant lifestyle information; selected written responses; a matchmaker summary; and other information reasonably relevant to a private introduction.

We aim to share only what is reasonably appropriate for the introduction. We do not guarantee that every detail you provide will be shared or withheld.

You should not submit information that you are unwilling for Aligned Courtship to review internally and, where appropriate, privately summarize for a potential introduction.

11. Vendors and Service Providers

We may use vendors and service providers to operate the website and service. Current or likely vendors may include:

• Supabase for database and storage, including private photo uploads;
• Vercel or comparable infrastructure for website hosting;
• Resend for email;
• Cloudflare for DNS, security, and domain-related services;
• analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Plausible Analytics, if enabled;
• advertising tools such as Meta Pixel or Google Ads conversion tracking, if enabled;
• Calendly or similar scheduling tools, if enabled;
• identity verification vendors, if enabled;
• background check vendors, if enabled;
• email providers and CRM tools, if enabled; and
• other vendors reasonably necessary to operate the service.

We require service providers to use information only for authorized purposes, subject to their agreements with us and applicable law.

12. Analytics, Cookies, and Advertising

We may use cookies, pixels, scripts, tags, local storage, log files, and similar technologies to operate the website, improve performance, prevent abuse, understand traffic, measure application sources, and evaluate marketing.

We may collect IP address, user agent, device information, browser information, pages visited, referring URLs, source data, approximate location, form events, and similar website activity.

If enabled, analytics tools may help us understand website use, and advertising tools may help us measure advertising performance.

We do not share photos or sensitive profile data for unrelated AI training, facial recognition, unrelated analytics, or unrelated third-party enrichment unless we separately disclose that use and obtain any legally required consent.

14. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including application review, screening, introductions, safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, recordkeeping, and business operations.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and our relationship with you. For example:

• application data may be retained while your application is active and for a reasonable period afterward;
• declined or inactive applications may be retained to prevent duplicate applications, document decisions, maintain safety, and improve review quality;
• screening and verification records may be retained as required or permitted by law;
• communications may be retained for business, safety, and dispute-resolution purposes;
• consent records may be retained to document permissions and legal compliance;
• security logs may be retained for security and fraud-prevention purposes; and
• financial records, if any, may be retained for tax, accounting, and legal purposes.

You may request deletion as described below, but we may retain information where needed for legal compliance, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement, backups, or legitimate business purposes.

Deletion may not remove information from backups immediately, but we will handle backup deletion in accordance with ordinary retention and security practices.
